COLUMBIA, Mo. — Monday mornings don't get much better than this for a basketball program.
Toni Bryant, a five-star power forward, verbally committed to Missouri men's basketball on Monday, giving the Tigers their second five-star prospect in the 2026 class. That's a remarkable recruiting achievement for fourth-year coach Dennis Gates, who has two five stars in a class for the first time in program history.
Bryant had visited campus over the weekend, taking in the Border War football game between MU and Kansas. The program's pitch evidently worked, given his quick commitment.
He is listed at 6-foot-9, 215 pounds, and ranked as the No. 21 player in 247Sports' composite rankings. He's also ranked as the fifth-best power forward in the 2026 class.
Bryant hails from Zephyrhills, Florida.
