Reviews are in for Saints' new uniforms for season opener

The New Orleans Saints faced the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1 with a new uniform combination featuring a gold jersey, black pants and a black helmet.

The new Saints uniforms were a talking point before the start of Sunday's Week 1 matchup with the Cardinals at the Caesars Superdome. Times-Picayune columnist Jeff Duncan wasn't a fan of the Saints' new-look.

Duncan took to X to give his take on the Saints Week 1 uniform. "Call me what you want, but this uniform combination is awful."

Multiple X users in the comments agreed with Duncan's take. The last time the Saints wore a gold jersey was was on Dec. 15, 2002 against the Minnesota Vikings during a Week 15 loss at the Superdome.
