HOCHFELD, MEXICO

Equipped with bellbottoms and Bee Gees records, thousands of eager dancers showed up in the tiny village of Hochfeld, Mexico this week for what promised to be the “hottest disco in all of Chihuahua.”

“Ah, ah, ah, ah, stayin’ alive! Stayin’ alive,” yelled the eager crowd. “Do the hustle! I will survive!”

The man behind the hottest disco in Chihuahua, however, was utterly baffled by all the attention.

“I don’t know what these people want, but it sure doesn’t appear to be deliciously seasoned ground beef cooked in an agricultural disc harrow,” said Guillermo Friesen. “Quite frankly all this dancing is making me feel mighty uncomfortable.”

Still, Friesen soldiered on, cooking the most delicious disco in all of Manitoba colony.
