TORONTO - Five things to watch for in the Canadian business world in the coming week:
China trade mission
The prime minister’s parliamentary secretary, Kody Blois, and Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe were to wrap a three-day trade mission to China intended to “engage constructively with Chinese officials” on the trade file. Moe wants to see Beijing’s tariffs on canola removed. The trip comes after the federal government on Friday announced financial support for canola producers feeling the effects of the levies.
Bombardier speech
Bombardier chief executive Éric Martel is at the Canadian Club Toronto on Wednesday and will participate in a conversation with Perrin Beatty. The private jet company announced plans last month to grow its services and support network in the U.S. in both areas
