SAN ANTONIO — Slow-moving heavy rains are causing problems across San Antonio's low water crossings, with some roads closing.

Remember to avoid driving in flooded areas. If you see high water, turn around don't drown.

The Bexar County Sheriff's Office says that throughout Sunday Bexar County will be receiving a significant amount of rain, leading to flash flooding in the area.

Weather authorities predict continued rainfall throughout the day, with further flooding expected in certain parts of the county. We urge everyone to exercise caution while traveling and to avoid flooded roadways. If you encounter any roadway that is flooded, please turn around and use an alternate route.
