A couple of New York Rangers showed up to show the love to their football counterparts on the first Sunday of NFL season.
Rangers forwards Matt Rempe and Adam Edstrom turned up to MetLife Stadium for the New York Jets season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The pair hung out on the field prior to kickoff and sent a special message to Jets fans moments before the season kicked off. Rempe has been in a real New York state of mind recently, a day after a meet-and-greet autograph session with fans at the NHL Shop in Manhattan.
Bonus points to Edstrom, a native of Sweden, for going full accent and shouting "Go Yets!"
