LUBBOCK, Texas -- Texas Tech University has reported receiving multiple reports of sexual assaults involving drivers for rideshare services near the campus, according to a press release. Reports given to the university describe instances of assaults by the drivers after arranging transportation.

Texas Tech officials stated incidents like these are a reminder to utilize caution when using rideshare services.
