NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — With summer winding down and fall festivities getting underway in New York City, that means one of the biggest conventions of the year is just around the corner.

New York Comic Con will return to the Javits Center in Hell's Kitchen for a weekend full of costumes, celebrity panels and surprises in the annual pop culture celebration.

Here's everything you need to know about the spooky-themed version of NYCC:

The theme

In May, NYCC announced its theme for 2025 on social media: Haunted.

"We have a lot of tricks and treats up our sleeves," the post said. "So grab your jack-o-lantern bucket [and] practice those horror screams."

When is it?
