PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- Downtown Peoria came alive Sunday as GO DAY returned to the riverfront, this year joining forces with the Big Picture Peoria Street Festival for a celebration that organizers say is bigger and better than ever.

From Water Street to the Peoria Riverfront Museum, families enjoyed live music, dance performances, chalk art competitions, obstacle courses and food trucks. The event was free and open to all ages, designed to showcase the city’s creativity and community spirit.
