Michigan made things difficult for the Sooners at times Saturday night, but OU found ways to dominate and beat the Wolverines 24-13. The Sooner report card leaves plenty of room for improvement:

Defending Underwood: A. In retrospect, Michigan’s reliance on quarterback Bryce Underwood was overstated. The Wolverines clearly were going to mash the ball with the run and take occasional shots with their just-turned-18 freshman QB. Michigan didn’t even try to use the 6-foot-4, 228-pounder in the run game. Underwood was sacked once, he scrambled once for nine yards, and on his only true running play, linebacker Owen Heinecke corralled Underwood for a five-yard loss.
