CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - An investigation has started in Clayton County after a boy was shot and killed Saturday night.

The shooting happened in the area of Paladin Drive and Trafalgar Way in Hampton around 10 p.m.

According to police, responding officers found the boy suffering from gunshot wounds and unresponsive. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No word has been given about a possible suspect at this time.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
