It must say something that Jack Rudoni made such an impression in a game when he didn't actually make a direct contribution to any goals.

The 24-year-old caught the eye of Not The Top 20's Championship pundit Ali Maxwell with his size, skill and outstanding movement in the 2-2 draw at Oxford heading into the international break.

Rudoni, now in his second season at Coventry, is quickly emerging as a leading player in the division. He joined from relegated Huddersfield in the summer of 2024 and scored 10 times and clocked up 12 assists last term. He has two goals and one assist so far this time around, all coming in the thrashing of QPR, and is about more than just numbers.
