Delivery bikes were among a haul seized from streets in Coventry. Police said eight were seized during an operation against illegal bike use.

It brought together the city centre team and officers from the road harm team. Two stolen cars were also seized.

The Wainbody neighbourhood team were called about an abandoned car in Pershore Place. Checks revealed it had been stolen, so it was recovered for further examination.

Another car was picked up by officers in the north-west of the city. They tracked down a car which had been stolen.

Elsewhere in the city, the Henley and Longford team carried out a speedwatch operation in Lentons Lane, Shilton Lane and Wigston Road. It led to almost a quarter of speeding drivers being clocked.
