CHICO, Calif. - Vitalant in Chico is gearing up for upcoming Battle of the Badges Blood Drive that will be taking place on Wednesday, September 10.

The 2025 Battle of the Badges Blood Drive will feature the Chico Police Department facing off against the Chico Fire Department as they compete for the most blood donations. The winning team that secures the most donations will earn a trophy and bragging rights.

To participate, schedule an appointment by calling Vitalant at (530) 893-5433 or visiting vitalant.org with the code "100560672." Donors must be at least 18 years old and weigh 110 pounds, or 17 with parental consent.
