CHICO, Calif. - Construction on Highway 32 in Chico, which began in July, continues to impact the community. The project stretches along five miles of Highway 32 between Highway 99 and Muir Avenue.

The repaving work is nearing completion – but a bump in the road means the final layer of pavement won’t be put down for just over a week.

This delay is due to scheduling issues with the asphalt plant, according to Megan Reese, a spokesperson for Caltrans District 3, which is overseeing the project.
