DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) -- One person was arrested early Monday morning after a standoff with SWAT and local law enforcement in Dayton.

According to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center, an initial call for response came in around 7:38 p.m. Sunday. Police were briefed on a drug complaint.

Our 2 NEWS photographer spoke with Sergeant Zachary Banks, of the Dayton Police Department, who said that a warrant was obtained for an individual at a residence in the 300 block of Burkhardt Avenue.

The individual reportedly violated probation.

SWAT was eventually called to the residence due to prior records obtained on the person inside and their refusal to exit.

The person was later arrested and a firearm was recovered. No injuries were reported.
