KEKAHA – Lane closures will be made along portions of Kekaha Road in the vicinity of Akekeke Road from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sept. 15 to 18, weather permitting, announced the Department of Public Works and its contractor, the Cutting-Edge Land Clearing Solutions.

The lane closures are necessary for the public’s safety and to allow The Cutting-Edge Land Clearing Solutions to remove a hazardous tree growing along the roadway.

Drivers are encouraged to make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary lane closures, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
