"Artisan" pizzas can be served from a Leicestershire back garden business, officials have ruled. Concerns had been raised over a loss of "peace and quiet" from neighbours over the plans which first emerged for Castle Donington last month.

Lee Bebbington's proposal looked to set up the delivery only service in the back garden of 3 Goodyear Close in the North West Leicestershire town under the name Pizzería Fiamma. However, concerns were raised by neighbouring residents over the potential noise and traffic impacts of the new business, with additional worries raised over the proposed sale of alcohol from the home, and the smoke created from the wood used to cook the pizzas.
