DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — After a relatively cool, calm and pleasant fall-like start to your Monday, summer is making a comeback, and quickly.

Temperatures started off in the low to mid-60s, with dew points in the 50s. This means the air is dry, and conditions are nice outside.

But, that is not lasting long.

By late morning, temperatures will quickly climb to the 80s, as dew points soar to the 70s. The air will be much muggier within hours, feeling more like summer.

A few scattered showers and isolated storms are possible later Monday, but the highest rain chances should be in The Panhandle. Our 30% chance of rain is largely conditional, and it depends on just how much moisture advects inland from the Gulf.
