The UAF volleyball team capped off the UAA Volleyball Invitational with a trio of victories, winning each of their three games from Thursday through Saturday. The undefeated run pushed their record to 6-1 on the season after two non-conference invitationals.

At the event, the Nanooks collected two straight-set wins in their most recent three matches. They opened against Cal State San Marcos with a sweep, battled through a five-set meeting with Biola University and wrapped up the tournament by rolling past Minot State University in straight sets.

The UAA Volleyball Invitational proved to be a successful trip for the Nanooks, who claimed the top spot after finishing undefeated. Haylee Lyons and Tessa Onaga were both named to the All-Tournament Team for their performances.
