WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — After intense flames ripped through a Warwick business the owners are now trying to find their beloved pet.
Video sent in from an ABC6 news viewer Saturday shows flames spewing out of the Tiger Eye Gift Shop on West Shore Road.
Hours after the initial call, firefighters worked to contain the flames. Now, the owners are searching for their cat.
ABC6 spoke with the owner, who told us his mom called him to tell him what was happening.
“It was crazy because it was just a call, and then I got here and the flames, smoke wouldn’t stop, and they had to break the windows, all your stuff disappeared, all the stuff,” said owner Ronald Amore.
“Its just sad, been here over five years, and now it’s pretty much gone.”
