Anthony Wayne earned the top spot in Division II as the Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association on Monday released its first state poll of the 2025 season.

The Generals (9-1 record) received eight first-place votes and had 132 points to edge Rocky River Magnificat (118 points, two first-place votes) and Avon (115, four).

Clay (6-3) and Fremont Ross (9-1) were tied for 14th in Division II with 10 points, while Perrysburg (7-1) was ranked fourth in Division I with 46. The lone losses for the Little Giants and Yellow Jackets so far this season were to Anthony Wayne.

In Division III, St. Ursula Academy (4-5) was tied for 16th with 18 points. The Arrows received one first place vote.
