WHITE OAK, Ohio —

Crews are investigating after a garage caught fire in Colerain Township Monday morning, according to officials.

Units with the Colerain Fire Department were dispatched to the 2800 block of Banning Road around 10 a.m. for reports of smoke in the area. Advertisement

Upon arrival, crews found a garage on fire behind an apartment complex. Firefighters were able to put the fire out before it spread to the complex, officials said.

No injuries were reported and there was minimal damage to the building, according to officials.

Police shut down Banning Road in the area. It is expected to reopen before 1 p.m.
