THERE was another spitting incident in football just days after Jalen Carter's controversy.

Jalen Carter was ejected from the Philadelphia Eagles ' opening game for spitting, and now a college football star has suffered the same fate.

The Florida Gators were upset by rivals South Florida in one of the most shocking results of the year.

However, the upset should never have happened.

Late in the fourth quarter, Florida held a 16-15 lead over USF and were in position to lock down the game.

It was at that point that Gators star defender Brendan Bett could be seen getting into it with South Florida player Cole Skinner.

Before he could be pulled away, Bett spit in the face of Skinner.

That action got him ejected from the game and got a flag thrown for unsportsmanlike conduct.
