Officers with the Jasper County Sheriff's Department are seeking two suspects following an armed robbery that occurred on Sunday evening at a store in Buna.

Sheriff Chuck Havard said shortly before 9:00, two men walked into the Family Dollar Store at 34900 Highway 96 South in Buna with guns in hand and demanded cash.

Havard said that after forcing the clerk to allow them to take money from the cash register, the two men ran out the back door of the store and were last seen running from the scene with an undisclosed amount of money and guns in hand.

The two suspects, who have only been described as black males are still at large and Sheriff Havard is asking anyone in the area having information about the crime or the identity of the suspect to come forth.
