INDIANAPOLIS — The Monumental Kids 5K will be held on Saturday, Sept. 20 at Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indianapolis .

The 5K starts at 9:30 a.m. and celebrates students participating in their school-based running clubs.

Public registration is "very limited," event officials said, and it is only available to non-program children for $30, plus processing fees.

Everyone who participates will get a T-shirt, a finisher medal and have the opportunity to finish on the infield of Lucas Oil Stadium.

The 5K is looking for volunteers to provide support and encourage the participating students. Officials said there are a variety of roles that they need filled.
