An arrest has been made in connection to the armed robbery of a gas station between Newport and New Castle in broad daylight on Labor Day.
Delaware state police said the suspect, identified as 21-year old Hasan Gordon, allegedly entered the Gulf Station on Route 141 around 12:15 p.m. and ordered the store employee to open up the cash register.
A warrant for Gordon's arrest was obtained and he was picked up on Sunday, September 7th, by Wilmington Police.
He's being held on robbery charges at Howard Young Correctional Institution on $120,000 secured bond.
