Three people were hurt, and a business damaged, as the result of a two vehicle crash Monday afternoon, September 8, 2025, on New Castle Avenue.
The collision between a car and an SUV occurred just before 5 p.m. and sent the car careening into a service center.
A technical rescue call was initiated bringing specialized equipment to the scene including a special operations unit from Claymont Fire Company and Squad 4 from the Wilmington Fire Department.
New Castle County paramedics said an approximately 35-year old man was flown to Christiana Hospital with serious injuries.
An approximately 38-year old woman and a 10-year old girl were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Delaware state troopers are investigating the crash.
