HAMILTON, Mo - Several activities are scheduled around the annual J.C. Penney Day in Hamilton on September 27th.
Activities will include a tour of the Highland Cemetery by local historian Dennis Cox from noon to 1. A tour of the Harold Henry Farm, wich was formerly owned by J.C. Penney will be from 2 to 3 pm. From 3 to 4 pm there will be a book signing at the Penney Boyhood Home for David Kruger, the author of "J.C. Penney, The Man, The Store, and American Agriculture." From 4 to 5 pm there will be a J.C. Penney statue dedication in downtown Hamilton.
Additional downtown activities for J.C. Penney Day will include a craft and vendor fair and various kids' activities. There will also be live music from 6 to 10 pm. For more information visit the 2025 J.C. Penney Day Facebook page.
