Police are investigating after reports of shots fired at a vehicle outside a home in Surrey’s Newton neighbourhood Monday morning.

The Surrey Police Service says officers were called to a residence on 124 Street near 58 Avenue (Highway 10) around 4 a.m.

“Upon arrival, officers discovered damage to a parked vehicle and evidence consistent with gunshots,” said a police statement.

No one was reported injured.

The SPS says investigators remain on scene and are still in the process of determining a motive or connection to any other incidents.
