Bans continue to catch cruisers off guard. Royal Caribbean has destinations that have issued new excursion bans . For its "Dolphin Swim & VIP Experience All-Inclusive" tour in Cozumel, Mexico, cruisers were notified of several changes, including updates to the way visitors interact with dolphins. Mexico has implemented several bans, altering the experience for visitors.

Royal Caribbean has a slew of obvious bans as well. Earlier in the year, a cruiser was caught with one of the worst banned items during a routine security check , carrying a revolver. The person was escorted on the ship, and thankfully, the Oasis of the Seas ship was able to continue, despite the scare in Aruba.
