BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. (WNDU) - A 73-year-old Stevensville man is dead after police say he was hit by a car while riding his bike over the weekend.

It happened on Saturday around 1:45 p.m. at Jericho Road and Livingston Road in Lake Township.

Police say the driver of the car, a 53-year-old Bridgman man, called 911 after hitting the bicyclist.

The bicyclist died at the scene. Police have not identified him yet.

According to police, the crash remains under investigation and is being reviewed by the Berrien County Prosecutor’s Office.
