CROCKETT, Texas (KTRE) - Authorities are seeking East Texans’ help in identifying a suspect involved in an attempted armed robbery. The alleged crime happened in Crockett Saturday, August 30.

That morning, around 9:30 a.m., officers with the Crockett Police Department were called out to the 200 block of East Goliad Avenue for an attempted robbery. The victim told police a man approached her with a knife and demanded that she hand over “valuables.” The victim also said the suspect smelled strongly of alcohol.

After speaking with several witnesses and reviewing surveillance video, police released a sketch of what they believe the suspect looks like. He’s described as a white man, with dark shaggy hair, green eyes and a light scruffy beard.
