LUBBOCK, Texas-- Lubbock native Aspen Gifford was in her first trimester of pregnancy with her son Jameson when her doctors prescribed Zofran, a medication used to prevent nausea, but which also caused medical complications for her during pregnancy.
Gifford's son, Jameson, was then diagnosed with hydrocephalus during her 20-week anatomy scan. Hydrocephalus is a condition characterized by a buildup of fluid in the brain's cavities, which can increase pressure and lead to various complications.
