FLORENCE, S.C. (WBTW) -- A Florence man is facing murder and other charges tied to a deadly shooting in February 2024, police told News13 Monday.

Tyrese Davonte Gilbert, 25, is also facing counts of violating community supervision, possession of a weapon during a violent crime possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Police say Gilbert shot someone on Feb. 19, 2024 near Carver and Alexander streets. He was in jail in another county and was recently transferred to Florence County where he was served warrants.
