EAST HARTFORD, Conn. — East Hartford Animal Control said Monday that they are looking for those responsible for painting on two squirrels.

The town animal control said they received a report about the painted squirrels in the area of Naubuc Avenue and High Street. The two photos in the below Facebook post show one of the squirrels colored blue and the other colored red.

The squirrels appear to be unharmed, according to animal control.

They are asking anyone with information on the painted squirrels to call their office at 860-291-7572 and leave a message.
