NASCAR's next big race at Talladega is in October, but they focused on some of their youngest fans on Monday.

The president of the superspeedway joined the NASCAR Foundation for a "speediatrics" delivery.

They dropped of "Speedy Bears" and a check on behalf of the NASCAR Foundation to Children's of Alabama.

Julia Taliaferro, the director of development at Children's of Alabama, said community support allows moments of childhood to happen.

"There are hard and beautiful things that happen at children's and hope and healing is a big part of that. And the community plays a big role in that."
