BOISE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Boise Police officers will not face charges after the shooting of a robbery suspect in September 2024.
Blaine County Prosecuting Attorney Matthew Fredback declined to file charges against police officers in the shooting of Adam Lee Cook on Sept. 24, 2024. Fredback stated that law enforcement had probable cause for Cook’s arrest and that the use of deadly force was reasonable.
Fredback reviewed bodycam footage and the Ada County Critical Incident Task Force’s investigation into the shooting led by the Meridian Police Department.
