Alabama-born supermodel Abby Champion has married actor Patrick Schwarzenegger, son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, in a ceremony held over the weekend at the Gozzer Ranch country club in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Champion, a native of Vestavia Hills, graduated from Vestavia Hills High School where she was a cheerleader before pursuing her modeling career. She was discovered by a Next Management agent during a pageant trip to The Bahamas with her sister, Baskin.

She made her runway debut at Bottega Veneta’s Spring/Summer 2018 show and has since walked for top brands including Balmain, Chanel, Elie Saab, Dolce & Gabbana, and Miu Miu. Champion has appeared in campaigns for Chanel and Miu Miu and on covers of several international editions of Vogue, most recently the May 2024 issue
