TOWN OF NANTICOKE , N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) - A Lisle man is facing 44 felony weapons charges and multiple rape charges after allegedly raping a friend of his daughter.

On September 2nd, a rape was reported in the town of Nanticoke.

A girl who is a minor was sleeping over at her friend's house when the friend's father, 36-year-old Kurt Compton allegedly gave her alcohol and marijuana before taking her into a bedroom and raping her in his home at 269 Caldwell Hill Road.

After searching the home, the Broome County Sheriff's Office Detectives say they found seven illegal firearms and 37 illegal ammunition magazines in addition to evidence related to the rape investigation.

Sheriff Fred Akshar says Compton is being held at the Broome County Jail, but he belongs somewhere far worse.
