Crews are responding to brush fire in Lakeside on Monday afternoon, officials said.

The blaze broke out north of Interstate 8 near Los Coches Road just before 3 p.m.

Due to the fire, there's a road closure at I-8 Business and Los Coches Road.

SkyRanger 7 and an NBC 7 crew are headed to the scene.
