B.C.'s newest political party is holding its inaugural town hall meeting on Saturday, Sept. 13 in Abbotsford.
OneBC – led by interim leader MLA Dallas Brodie (Vancouver-Quilchena) – holds the session from 2 to 4 p.m. at. Ricky's Restaurant, 32080 Marshall Rd.
Brodie will be on hand with several guest speakers for a discussion and question-and-answer session on "our land, growing our prosperity, and shaping the future of British Columbia," according to a web page about the event.
OneBC was officially registered with Elections BC as a new party on June 9.
Brodie left the BC Conservative Caucus in March after controversy erupted over her comments casting doubt on evidence of Indigenous children's graves at residential schools.
