PISCATAWAY – It’s been a long time since Rutgers football coach Greg Schiano has gone up against Michael Vick.

Twenty-five years to be exact, back when Schiano was Miami’s defensive coordinator and Vick was Virginia Tech’s starting quarterback.

Schiano’s Scarlet Knights will go up against Norfolk State and Vick, who’s in his first season as the Spartans’ head coach, on Sept. 13 at SHI Stadium.

Vick was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2001 NFL Draft and went on to have a pro career that included four Pro Bowl appearances. He played for the Falcons, Eagles, Jets and Steelers.
