GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. —
Christ Church Episcopal School in Greenville has severed ties with a football announcer who made derogatory comments comparing South Carolina State University, a historically Black university, to the South Carolina Department of Corrections during a game.
Christ Church Episcopal School officials say immediately after, the announcer was told to apologize over the microphone and was let go. While he was contracted through the school, Christ Church says he was not a school employee. Latest Forecast
