(WHTM) -- As President Donald Trump escalates his use of the National Guard in major American cities, some wonder whether he will focus his eyes on Pennsylvania.

The president has used troops and federal agents in recent months as part of what he said is a mission to fight crime and ramp up deportations. After Los Angeles, D.C. and Chicago, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro said he's "prepared" should Philadelphia, or any city in the state, be next.

"I think what the president's doing is wrong. I think what the president's doing injects chaos in communities," Shapiro said Monday in Philadelphia.

He added, "I'm not going to get into the specifics. I can tell you we are prepared."
