Two men in Ontario and one from B.C. have been charged with helping Wolfpack gang killer Robby Alkhalil escape from a Port Coquitlam jail three years ago.
Anti-gang officers teamed with the RCMP’s federal policing section to investigate Alkhalil’s spectacular escape from the North Fraser pretrial jail on July 21, 2022.
Facing charges of conspiracy to commit prison breach are Ottawa residents Edward Ayoub, 48, and John Potvin, 49, as well as Ryan Van Gool, 46, of Harrison Hot Springs. Ayoub and Van Gool have been arrested, while Potvin’s whereabouts are unknown.
