BOISE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Scott Bedke has announced his plans to run for re-election as Lieutenant Governor of Idaho in the 2026 election.
“Over the last three years as your Lt. Governor, I’ve worked every day to protect our Idaho way of life and our state’s future,” Bedke stated in his announcement. “I’ve never forgotten that I work for my fellow Idahoans, and that means defending our freedoms and our borders, limiting government interference, and delivering meaningful tax relief.”
Bedke was elected to the position in November 2022 and took office in January 2023. He was born in Twin Falls and graduated from Oakley High School. Bedke stated that he is focused on protecting Idaho values and continuing his work.
