LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - A Southwest Louisiana grooming business is under fire. At least two pet owners are claiming their dogs were injured by misused shampoo products at the Dog Stop, a grooming and boarding business in Lake Charles.
“They immediately knew something was wrong, so he went straight to the vet right after that, sometime in the afternoon. Brought him to the vet and immediately got him in, and they knew something was up with how he was holding his face and closing his eyes,” pet owner Madison Ozan said.
Ozan shared a veterinary report with 7News that states her dog Archie had chemical exposure in both eyes, likely due to shampoo or another product used during grooming.
