PANHANDLE, Texas (KFDA) - Week two of high school football was very exciting, with many teams picking up their first wins and even some that remained undefeated, like the Panhandle Panthers.

Panhandle shut out Clarendon 71-0 week one and continued to dominate in week two, taking down the Stratford Elks by 42 points, a game that was decided by just six points last season.

Panthers’ head football coach, Dane Ashley, says this year’s team is experienced and knows what it takes to win. He says they will have to be their best to defeat Dalhart on Friday.
