A judge Monday ordered $1 million bail for a 17-year-old boy accused of shooting at a man Friday near Heritage High School . Investigators say the teen fired at the man who hollered at him as he tried to break into a car.

Irvin Pantoja Martinez appeared Monday in Clark County Superior Court on allegations of second-degree attempted murder, unlawful possession of a stolen firearm and vehicle prowling.

Shortly after midnight, the Clark County sheriff’s deputies responded to Heritage High School, 7825 N.E. 130th Ave., after reports of gunshots and a woman screaming for help.

Arriving deputies said they heard shots fired northeast of the school, on Northeast 136th Avenue, which was determined to be Mark Miles’ residence, according to a probable cause affidavit.
